Growing Health, Empowerment & Sustainability

By combining technology, sustainability, and empowerment, Hydro Home is creating a future where fresh food is grown locally, communities thrive economically, and healthy eating becomes an affordable everyday reality, not a privilege

ABOUT US

EVERYONE IS A FARMER

At Hydro Home, we believe that healthy living shouldn’t be a luxury it should be accessible, sustainable, and affordable for everyone. Founded by Emilie Abdallah in Beirut, Lebanon, Hydro Home is an innovative urban farming initiative that’s redefining how cities grow and consume food

We started our journey with microgreen yields, cultivating premium, nutrient-dense greens through advanced hydroponic farming systems. These fresh, pesticide-free microgreens are delivered weekly to homes, restaurants, and cafés. bringing vibrant nutrition directly to your table while keeping it affordable and accessible for all

But our vision grows far beyond microgreens. Our next phase will expand into hydroponic yield systems, producing a wider range of fresh, local crops while continuing to use 90% less water and minimal energy. Through innovation and smart design, we aim to make healthy food both sustainable and economically within reach of every household

At the heart of our mission lies a powerful social goal: to build a network of decentralized urban farmers. Through our upcoming customized Hydro Home Kits, tailored to different household capacities, we empower retirees, unemployed individuals, women, and people with special needs to start income-generating micro-farms right from their own spaces. Each kit represents a step toward independence, resilience, and a shared commitment to nourishing our communities.

MISSION

Starting with the seed of an idea to change the Lebanese farming landscape
Our mission goes beyond agriculture

We specialize in cultivating fresh, pesticide-free microgreens and hydroponic produce using advanced, water-efficient systems. These innovations allow us to deliver high-quality nutrition directly to homes, cafés, and restaurants, redefining how cities access and consume fresh food.

Through our customized Micro-Kits, we empower retirees, the unemployed, women, and individuals with special needs to convert their own spaces into productive, small-scale farms. These decentralized farming systems enable participants to generate reliable income while fostering self-reliance, purpose, and pride. At Hydro Home, we’re not just growing food… we’re cultivating a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future.

VISION

At Hydro Home, we envision a future where sustainable agriculture transforms the way communities access fresh, nutritious produce.

Our commitment is to pioneer innovative hydroponic solutions that empower individuals and families to grow their own food, regardless of space or climate constraints.

WE ASPIRE TO:

  • Strengthen local food resilience through accessible, micro-scale hydroponic farming
  • Empower underrepresented communities — including women, retirees, the unemployed, and people with special needs — with dignified, income-generating opportunities
  • Establish a buy-back ecosystem that ensures market access and financial stability for micro-farmers
  • Advance sustainable agriculture in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • And most importantly, make healthy, nutritious food both sustainable and affordable for all

Together, we are cultivating a greener, healthier future—one harvest at a time.

Founder's Message

From Emilie Abdallah, Founder of Hydro Home

When I started Hydro Home, it wasn't just about growing plants—it was about growing possibilities.

I started from scratch. I had nothing but a strong will, determination, and a belief that change begins with small, intentional actions. No investors, no ready-made infrastructure—just a vision of creating something meaningful: a way to make healthy living affordable and to help people build dignified sources of income through sustainable farming.

From my tiny setup in Beirut, I began cultivating microgreens—small but powerful plants full of nutrition, flavor, and life. Those first trays taught me something invaluable: that even the smallest seeds, when nurtured with care and purpose, can transform lives.

As Hydro Home grew, so did our mission. We moved beyond producing fresh, pesticide-free microgreens to empowering others to grow alongside us. Through our Micro-Kit program, we give individuals—retirees, women, unemployed people, and those with special needs—the tools to become independent micro-farmers.

But empowerment doesn't end with training. To truly make an impact, we buy back the yield from every micro-farmer in our network. This guarantees them a fair, reliable, and dignified income, turning urban spaces into sustainable sources of both food and financial independence.

Today, Hydro Home stands for more than just healthy food. It stands for opportunity. It stands for resilience. It stands for the belief that anyone, anywhere, can create a better future with the right tools and community by their side.

My dream is to see cities filled with green rooftops, balconies turned into mini-farms, and people proud of what they grow—not just for themselves, but for their communities and their futures.
